Yoga for Forgiveness with Santokh Rinpoche
Happy Vibe Yoga offers a morning of Yoga focusing on the joy of forgiveness. The seminar consists of asana, darma talk, pranayama ,meditation, and focused relaxation designed to provide a feeling of renewed spirit resulting from the release of negative energy.
Why Forgive ? How can we forgive someone who has hurt us so much? Whether your hurt be from a long pattern of unloving behavior or a long email detailing your faults, it can be released through forgiveness. We do not confuse forgiveness with acceptance. We don’t have to condone hurtful behavior to forgive it. Forgiveness allows us sever the negative hold the other person has on us. Gone is the mental aspect of the relationship. The showing of the film of the hurt in our minds cease. We stop fantasizing about how things should be, what should have happened, how we deserved to be loved. Forgiveness leads us to experience a new freedom of mind and body and peace of heart. Forgiving is not the same as forgetting. Forgiving honors ours feelings our emotional welfare and our personal boundaries. Continuing to focus on hurtful events stagnates our energy, leaves our chakras out of balance and veers us out of alignment with our true nature. Energy flows where attention goes. Not forgiving can make us sick. Switch the focus from right vs. wrong. Shift the focus to regaining the power to pour energy into those thoughts and behaviors that align with your highest aspirations. Agree to disagree with the other person in your thoughts and sever the loop that runs the hurtful scenarios over and over. Think of it as taking back the power to choose how to engage your energy. Release the images, the conversations, the plans , the commentary and maybe the person if they are associated with toxicity to your happiness.
